Canary wharf

Went late to visit my friend last night in canary wharf.
Woke her up even earlier, to force her eat breakfast with me at the shopping centre by the station. That obviously turned into a small shopping session.

Saw these in topshop. Was close to get them as they are very versace ss11 and generally cute (dont look at these worn out dirty ones ) BUT then I remembered I'm Monika I wear 99.9% black shoes so I went for another pair in zara that I will show later.


Also got these in topshop. Triple nail polish in silver bullet, utilitarian and gypsy night.Very nice. I think I have about 8 topshop polishes now. Maybe I should try other brands?

Black swan / Night in

As so many others say, Black Swan is amazing.
Natalie Portman better score an oscar.

Beside seeing Black Swan, Ivee been chilling in with my friend.
Eating loads of food and watching more films.
At the moment of writing this shes asleep snoring. I just drew a moustache on her but she turned around before I got a picture of it! I will try to get one before she wakes up.

7 am.

I cant sleep.
All my thoughts are in a mess.
Yet I cant really put my finger down on any of them.
How can I describe an unknown emotion?
I feel tired, anxious, hyper and ill all at the same time.
I need a break.
Tomorrow I'm going to buy a beautiful book and switch off technology.

After a long day out with all the exhaust and smoke here, my hair will usually pick up on it.
A quick spray of this Chanel hair mist and its all lovely again!

Good morning early birds

I havent gone to bed yet because staying in these days means my body wont get ridd of the excess energy I have in spare for nights out. So instead, Im taking my bikini over to a friends for an early jacuzzi session and pancakes. Will end up passing out in her living room but whatever thats fine.

What a night!
I dont drink anymore as you might know but my god last night I felt like I was drunk off my face bouncing around the place.
The place was packed with a cool crowd and they had a brazilian dj playing insane music so the atmosphere was really really good.
Even if I only drink red bull or water I had a crazy night and so did all my friends.
They have just started doing mondays there now, so I will obviously be there tomorrow night too.

Tired and stuff

There is a reason why I dont go out fridays.
The crowd always feels bit too tired to be weekend crowd but too try hard to be week day crowd.

Stopped by chinawhites then and obvious Jalouse.
Didnt enjoy either really. Fell asleep in the cab.
Having some tea now before I finally meet my bed tonight.

Had a full night last night starting with dinner at Spagetti house, cinema watching The tourist ( Bit predictable ) and dancing away at Jalouse. The last bit was very spontaneous as we had no plans of really going out but just to visit quickly to say happy birthday to a friend. But its Jalouse and it was packed last night so it was hard to resist staying much longer.

Might go back tonight for the P Diddy launch event.
Havent fully decided yet.

So yesterday I was buying shoes in selfridges like a crack addict and I spotted these.
Tried them on in blue as the black ones were sold out in my size but thinking of picking up a pair today from a random river island somewhere. Yes/no?

This week.

I havent updated at all because Ive been busy with my friends visit from sweden.
Its been one hell of a week with the tattoo, going out, eating, shopping. The usual life a la Monika.

I just waved her off to the airport.
Feels strange to come back to a quiet flat.
No one stealing my laptop and making a mess everywhere or changing my music all the time.
So now I'm sitting here alone in my big couch missing her annoying habits. Its been like five minutes.

Listening to James Blunt makes things so much worse. But if I listen to any club tunes its going to make me go crazy. I got a cold as always, if I go out again tonight I might just die. But sitting home might kill me in other ways.

Goodmorning!
Wow this is the first night I got some regular sleep going to bed at an okeyish time.
Kept waking up here and there from nightmares and checking my phone but other than that all good! Its Wednesday today. I got a few things to do today but other than that Im having a quiet night. Its been bit strange staying away from the clubs all week but doing normal things seeing people the normal way has been nice too. Like a little mini detox week preparing for my friends arrival on saturday. Then things are getting CRAZY. First stop on saturday, tattoo parlour!
